Next year, we want to create an event to mark the Foundation’s first anniversary.
This will be more than an anniversary, it will be a living celebration. A day to showcase the work of the Foundation so far, share our plans for what comes next, and honour the life and music of the man who inspires it all.
Imagine with us:
• A photographic exhibition telling Gene’s story through images of his life and music.
• Live multi-media art workshops where you can create, play, and connect.
• A gathering space to meet others who share a passion for Gene, for music, the arts, and community.
• Curated playlists drawn from Gene’s catalogue, themed “The Innovator,” “The Rebel,” “The Romantic.”
• A storytelling archive built from your personal memories of Gene and the impact he had.
• Classic cars, live music, and of course food and plenty of dancing.
